As Riverdance developed into a world-wide phenomenon, physical demands on the dancers grew. They had to reach and maintain a standard of fitness and professional performance never before demanded of Irish dancers. It was clear that a new fitness plan was needed.
The aims were to:
• Create the perfect warm-up routine
• Improve and maintain fitness
• Achieve consistently high performances
• Prevent injury
Years of research and dedication proved successful and the techniques used have now been brought together in the Irish Dance Fitness Plan - a programme designed specifically for the Irish Dancer.
